    Baggage Shipping

    FordEx makes it possible to move your personal belongings to more than 240 destinations around the world requiring the least possible time or cost. We transport baggage by air and sea as well as offer road freight to almost all Worldwide destinations.

    All our air, sea and road rates include free supply of cartons, bubble wrap, corrugated paper and tape. The delivery of the materials and collection of your belongings is free within the China area. Should you wish to utilise your own cartons or suitcases please complete our quotation request form or call our sales team to quote you a competitive price based on the volume or weight of your shipment.

    Students
    We will collect from any halls of residence nationwide and will advise on the most cost effective method of transporting your effects back home.

    Back Packers
    We will advise you on the most cost effective method of transport and insurance, saving you money in the long run.

    Sea or Road freight
    Once we have collected your belongings from your China address, we aim to ship your goods on the first available vessel or truck. Details of transit times can be obtained when making your booking. In case of door to port, the shipping documents will be supplied to you before arrival of your shipment at the destination port. For door to door deliveries, our overseas agent will make contact with either with you or your receiver to confirm final delivery.

    Airfreight
    All airfreight consignments are despatched within 4 days of collection of your baggage. The flight details for door to airport consignments, air waybill numbers are provided to you prior to departure of the flight.

    Door to door air shipments require a couple of days more as our agent in the destination country needs to get in touch with the receiver of goods to make final delivery arrangements.

    For inland destinations, it is mostly cost effective to send your baggage by air, even for larger quantities. However, for large volumes sea or road freight is the right mode of transportation. Air freight rates are based on weight, whereas, sea freight rates are based on the space taken by your baggage or cartons.
