MSC drops Asia-Europe equipment imbalance surcharge
SWISS Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC) has announced that it is scrapping an equipment balance surcharge on shipments from Asia to Europe and North Africa.
The surcharge, ranging from US$100 to $200 per TEU, was implemented on July 29, but has been "suspended until further notice," the line said.
