    Our Client is a well respected International company in the world of shipping. They are currently seeking to recruit an Import Customer Services Manager for their Liverpool office.

    The successful candidate will manage the activity and ensure efficient and effective output in terms of Customer Service.

    Duties:

    Ensure Customer First principles are maintained and developed on at every level within the department
    Plan and implement import strategy activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of the organisation
    Manage all staff reporting to the position so as to effectively recruit, train, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities;
    Liaise with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant relationships, as well as supporting the organisation's strategic and overall operating functions.
    Produce and analyse statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service the import organisation is providing, including the issue of predefined weekly reports on KPI's and vessel figures.
    Manage and action all import supplier and port invoices
    Investigate and solve customers' problems, which may be complex or long standing problems that have been referred to you.
    Develop customer service procedures, policies and standards for your department.
    The successful candidate must have strong managerial experience, have excellent time management skills, be articulate and planning and have excellent organisational skills.
